Keeping Children Safe is Everyone’s Responsibility

HOW can you help?

Become a mentor for a parent or child. Help organize and participate in community activities that provide positive family-focused leisure time. Volunteer at a Community Partner agency. Listen to the parents you interact with and encourage their positive efforts. Donate funds or goods to support the families in your community. If you would like to get involved, call Community Partners, 1-800-897-0007.

Benefits of Community Partners

The promise of Community Partners for Child Safety is that children will be safer, families will be healthier and communities will be stronger.

For Families

Parents and children build strengths, develop skills and broaden their support system in their local communities. Ultimately, children are safe, thriving and free from abuse or
neglect.

For our Communities

The community strengthens through a strong partnership with families. Increased use of community resources and additional collaboration among partners will be a positive program result. A community partnership model will also increase awareness of family strengths and needs and help communities to best focus their services. Collaborative fund development among partners will be encouraged resulting in increased service availability. Safe, happy, involved families along with a caring, concerned community promotes a thriving environment.

Vision—Communities working together to strengthen families and keep children safe.

Mission—Every family in our Region has access to a wide array of prevention education and support services within their local community.
